Let Not Your Mind Wander

been In my mind, there flows a massive sea of thoughts. I can quieten this sea and maintain ultimate peace within by practicing meditation every day.

HH Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj

The nature of the human mind is dominated by fear, attachment and lack of absolute knowledge. There are many doors in the mind opening outwards and countless opening inwards. The mind works like a scanner. It scans diverse objects and people in a short span of time. Naturally, it wanders leading to a multitude of thoughts- some good, some bad and some simply disastrous. Further, being fickle-minded could act as a great obstacle in your progress. You either dwell in the turbulent past or worry about the uncertain future.

You must control this wandering device and it is possible if you can keep your attention focused on a single object, a higher aim through meditation.

Meditation is the way to go

With a meditative mind, you can eliminate attachment, fear and develop great knowledge about your surroundings and create awareness of self. You can remove ignorance by staying focused mostly on God, and His blessings, without any indecisiveness in mind. Through regular practice of deep meditation, you can reach a place wherein you’ll feel you have attained absolute bliss. But don’t fall prey to such deceptive feelings. You still have a long way to go.

Your inner powers have been awakened through meditation and so you are bound to feel like that. But that does not mean you have won over the fickleness of mind. Still, a lot of distractions may cross your path and you may deviate. You must work harder to transform yourself into a true meditator, a seeker of absolute bliss with a firm mind. To achieve this, you must enter a state of no-mind where you lose your own self and your identity.

Enter the No-Mind State

Now you have to endeavor to take your mind to a state of zilch, nothingness; the ‘NOTHING state of mind’. Whenever you have the opportunity, focus on the complete silence that is already present in your mind.

Now, what do we mean by complete silence?

When you are totally unable to hear any sound, you are available to a state where you see absolutely nothing, and you are also not involved in any kind of activity. By practicing the right meditation techniques, you shall be able to gradually stop all the wandering within.  Through some meditation techniques, like Brahma shakti Dhyana, you can establish profound peace within yourself.

You can reach a horizon in your silence where you will feel deeply relaxed. You will be totally immersed in your inner world. It is that state where all your worldly thirsts will be satiated. You can feel a boost in your inner strength, and now you have the ability to connect to your internal energy that reduces anxiety automatically.

The Way to Ultimate Bliss

After this state of complete silence, you can work for the second stage of meditation. In this state, you just sit in complete silence and feel the bliss. So, now you’ll become peaceful, blissful and also astonished that you don’t have any idea what is happening around you. Now you want to feel this emptiness and bliss.

Sometimes, you are under the influence of others, thinking you should also behave in the way others behave. But again, you have to come to your original state and understand your true power. You can develop a protective shield around yourself through Sapt Chakra Meditation & Brahmkavach Meditation. This shield protects you from all sorrow, all fear, all outer influences and all types of adversities.

Most importantly when you start meditating you must keep your mind focused on your Guru because only He can give you the key of meditation to unlock the gateway to Godhead. Guru is the source of the Divine knowledge and the Master of meditation. After years of penance, He has mastered the various techniques to Meet the Divine and to live in bliss. Remember that a Guru does not give away the treasure of His meditations to the disciples easily. So if and when one gets an opportunity to learn meditation from his Guru, it should not be missed.

Also remember, meditation is a blessed opportunity for mankind. It works like an eraser in your mind that can wipe out all the unwanted thoughts. And if you can learn various meditation techniques incisively, you are lucky and destined to control your mind and achieve whatever you want in life.
