God is the ultimate savior. If you can realize God and His blessings in your day-to-day actions, then understand that you are living a Yogic life. Through Yoga, you can control your mind, body, and soul. It helps you in attaining physical and mental discipline so that you may reach the state of inner balance.

Yoga increases your flexibility, muscle strength and improves your body posture. It also optimizes the flow of Pranic energy and vitality within you. Practicing yoga might seem like just a few body postures and stretching, but it benefits your body at many levels, bringing improvements in the way you feel, look and perform. This is the power of Yoga, which is a wonderful gift from the great sages and saints of our country. 

The word Yoga was first mentioned in our sacred texts, the Rig Veda. Its importance has been described in various Yogic scriptures; the most renowned of them is, of course, Lord Krishna’s Bhagavad-Gita teaching us the way to living life thru Karma Yog, Gyan Yog, & Bhakti Yog.

So, take pride in the fact that you are born in the land of Yogis and sages who have spread the science of yog and spirituality across the world. Yogic experiments by these saints were meant to take humanity to a higher level, enabling humans to boost their inner strength, physical strength, mental energy, and Pranic energy. Yogic living gave the yogis extraordinary powers, and they gave the world a wealth of spiritual knowledge.

How to Live a Yogic Life?

Start your day by watching the rising sun and live a long and healthy life. According to The Vedas, for a remarkable and fulfilling life, it is necessary to rise at dawn before the Sun rises. Dedicate the first part of your day to The Divine, do your exercise, Pranayama, and self-study. Start the day by thanking The Divine for all that has been bestowed upon you and seek forgiveness for your mistakes. At the same time seek God’s blessings for another blessed day ahead. 

In the morning, before starting your day, contemplate upon Dharma, and not the financial matters. You should introspect and plan your day ahead. Prepare your to-do list and scan your mind to identify the key problems challenging you and their solutions.  Through Yoga, you can reach the root of any problem in your life. 

So, waking up early in the morning should be the first and foremost thing and then comes your ‘company’ and where you spend your productive time. Spend some time with nature and you will see the astounding calming impact it has on you. Chant Vedic Mantras, prayers and meditate as you get ready to start your day. 

Practice Yoga for your Well-Being

This International Yoga Day, pledge that you are going to be healthy by giving respect to life and practicing Yoga. If you are alive, look alive as well and for that start your day with positive affirmations. Say to yourself- I am blessed and I am moving forward towards a bright future; my mind is under my control; I do not need the support of others and I am always available to support the needy; and I am going to live a self-dependent life forever. Such positive affirmations will make you happy. 

And for leading a blessed life, learn Yoga from your heart. The more you move on the path of Yoga, the stronger you will emerge in the course of time. Through this path, you can easily reset, refocus & revive your life. Always remember, your ultimate aim is to develop a connection with God and the path to build this connection is called Yoga.
