Forgiveness- It is a Virtue

Forgiveness- It is a Virtue- In the spiritual world it is said that a person should observe penance and follow percepts. Cleanliness, satisfaction, penance, self-awareness and devotion to God are the five percepts which should be observed. To strengthen one’s soul it is necessary to follow religion. Behaving with others against one’s conscience, behaving with others as one would expect a behavior for himself, is religion. Keeping a good composure is the first sign of a religious person.

A person who moves resolutely does not get engrossed with anger and does not lose patience with a slight provocation, are the signs of a religious person. Another sign is to have the courage to forgive others and who does not lead a cruel life. According to Manu Maharaj that
person is not religious who ignores his own faults. If one finds faults with oneself, punish, and then repent.

Forgive others. That is the virtue.

Man’s belief in religion strengthens through Satsang, and by undertaking pilgrimages. Just visiting the place is not enough. It is of significant advantage to visit those places to cleanse the mind and the soul. It is said that by joining Satsang, and by keeping good company, the mind gets rejuvenated and the thoughts get renewed. New waves of fresh thoughts begin to flow in the mind. An ideal person is the one who gets inspiration from anywhere and learns lessons from others.

Illuminate Your Life with Divine Gifts

Illuminate your life with divine gifts from today itself. Do not defer it to tomorrow or to the day after. When you will hear the voice from within you will realize that everyone outside is illuminative, but when the inner voice accepts you then only you are illuminative. Your inner being will only decide how many faults do you have and how many virtue you possess.

A person who has been cruel throughout his life will surely, as a consequence, get the body of an animal in his next life. Observe your inner conscience to evaluate yourself – what are you and what have been your faults. When you cleanse your inner being then it is certain that not only this present life would be peaceful but the next one would also be equally comfortable. A man gets his share of happiness and
sufferings based on his own actions, behaviour and habits.

Fate or Destiny is the Consequences of Deeds

Fate or destiny, or whatever you may say, is also the consequence of your deeds. Whatever deed you had done in the previous life, their results are available in the present life. However, some of the rewards
you get after some time and some you get instantaneously. It is well known that some plants get their fruitation after three years and some deliver the fruits in the very first year. You put your hand into the fire, the  result would be spontaneous. There are some diseases which remain in the family for seven generations. Good actions also go as far as seven years. Kindle the fire of resolution within yourself and try successfully to eliminate misfortune through good actions, behaviour
and conduct.

God tells us to get rid of bad habits and try to enjoy the blessings of life for hundreds of years. In other words, you become the architect of your own fate. Create your own heaven. Become worthy. I have an unending treasure of life, which I shall endow you with. Accept the blessings of God and be a partner in the creation of good fortunes for yourself. Decorate your life with heavenly blessings.

  1. If we forgive it is our strength, not a weakness. I like Jain religion for this particular quality and included in their Kshama festival Om Guruve Namah
