There are a lot of unfortunate events happening in the world right now. Some of these events and personal tragedies may affect mental peace profoundly. Sometimes human beings feel that they cannot endure hardships anymore. At such times life can be downright miserable, even depressing.

Whether you have incurred losses in business, lost a job, faced betrayal in a relationship or a loved one has passed away-understand that, this is life and you have to move on despite any tragedy, no matter how big it is. So, when you feel like giving up, what can you do? 

It depends upon your own perspective and not on your present circumstances. Whenever you feel dejected or frustrated, make a wise decision to take the first step towards a fresh perspective.

Have a Meditative Mind Like Adi Yogi

Everyone celebrated Maha Shivratri yesterday. A lot can be learned from Him who is also called a ‘Maha Yogi’. Mahadev meditates for hours for the well-being of mankind. Only extreme situations can disturb Him, otherwise, he is always seen in a supreme meditative state of mind.

Learn to develop such a meditative mind. You can win half the battle by staying calm in a stressful situation. It is one of the best strategies to sort out any problem and move towards the solution. Through meditation, you can reprogram your thought process to achieve your goals despite grave tragedies.

Alter your Thought-Process

If you trust that you cannot bring change in your life now, you will never be able to do it. So if you find yourself repeating ‘Now it’s impossible,’ or ‘I cannot do anything now,’ or ‘Life is unfair to me’ try changing this thought-process to ‘Let me try, and ‘Let’s take a chance and ‘Life is still good in so many ways.’

A change in the thought-process allows the possibility that you can still bring change to your life. A simple change in thought can change the whole life. Try it! 

Take Good Care of Yourself

Nourish your body well in all circumstances. It will give you the energy to concentrate and fulfill everyday tasks effectively. The food you take is your body’s energy and fuel and it’s also your mind’s energy and fuel. Feed your body well to have adequate energy and vitality. 

In extreme situations, some people renounce food completely. Avoid that. Eat well, sleep well, and keep yourself healthy in every situation.

Take Support From Relationships or Be Your Own Support

Surround yourself with supportive people in your family and if you are living alone, surround yourself with your own positive vibes. Never ever feel isolated as you are an imperative part of this universe created by God. And God always takes care of His creations. 

So, build your inner strength and overcome life’s hardships, and remember, “Victory and disappointment are not overnight experiences. It is the thought process along the way that causes human beings to fail or flourish.

You can always change the path you are currently on and start living happily again. The decision is yours. Accept every challenge and be prepared to change.
